Oakleigh Primary School Visit
We had 60 grade 1 students from the Oakleigh Primary School come to our club as part of their “Engaging with their Community” school initiative.
We all had a wonderful time telling them why we love lawn bowls and played Jack Attack, which the children loved.
Thank you to our club members Teena, Trevor, Ron, Susan, Rosie, Louise, Judy & Cat for making the afternoon fun.
Next time, we will play a game on the green!

Oakleigh Bowling Club Community Hub
Oakleigh Bowling Club has been a strong community asset since 1906 and continues today to provide a vital and ongoing commitment to supporting the local community
Whilst we are a bowling club, we also pride ourselves on providing a venue and forum for a multitude of community groups.
We are proud to host the regular “Annex Arts presents Sunday Sessions” where local community artists are showcased. These afternoons are growing in popularity with the community and are an excellent opportunity to hear the amazing talent from around the Oakleigh area. Annex Arts also host the monthly “Story telling” at the club on the last Tuesday of the month.
Our club is the headquarters for the Norton Owners Club of Victoria, and the BSA Motor Cycle Owners Association of Victoria.
After Hours Events, an online community for and by people with diverse needs, meets every month at the club to enjoy singing, partner dancing and communications.

If you have a community or social group and are looking for a venue to host your events, please contact us as we are always looking to promote and assist in any community activities.
